OUR SMART APPROACH TO SECURITY TRAININGS

A unique combination of self-assessment, mentorship and LEVEL5 competence validation system, strengthens the security awareness of participants through a process of experiential learning, self-reflection and coaching.

1. MISSION

Our team believes that developing, maintaining and  updating the security awareness of participants can enhance their readiness and preparation for deployment or travels to hostile environments. Investing in the  preparation of personnel deployed abroad is a fundamental step for preventing and mitigating security incidents  and for the duty of care of sending entities. 

Our drive is to better prepare civilians for field deployment, since we believe that security incidents can be prevented and mitigated with proper professional training.

Our target includes personnel from the private sector, NGOs, journalists, academia, as well as International Organisations and European Institutions.

2. QUALITY STANDARDS

Our training sector is certified UNI EN ISO 9001:2015. We offer a different set of state-of-the-art security trainings designed on the basis of our experience with the most advanced European training standards, including the ENTRi/ESDC curriculum. The aim is to enhance participants’ security and safety awareness and enable them to prevent and deal more effectively with risks, challenging situations and security incidents.

3. INNOVATIVE METHODOLOGY

Participants practice and rehearse a variety of immersive experiential scenario-based exercises in a safe and realistic environment. We have developed a combination of experiential learning, self-assessment, mentorship and competence validation that strengthens the security awareness of participants through a process of simulations, self-reflection and coaching. 
We use a modular and customized approach that builds on the learner’s specific knowledge and experiences, and allows us to tailor the training to the specific needs of sending Institutions/Companies. 

4. ORIGINAL IMMERSIVE SCENARIO

We have created a realistic and original immersive scenario, so that participants can practice and rehearse a variety of scenario-based exercises in a safe learning environment.

5. LEVEL5 COMPETENCE VALIDATION

We have decided to launch a pilot project of validating the competence of security awareness through the competence validation system LEVEL5, developed by the European network REVEAL, so that participants can use a unique tool for monitoring their progress in the different learning dimensions and experience an enhanced self-reflection component. LEVEL5 is based on a three-dimensional model, which maps the development of knowledge, skills and attitudes along five quality levels. Upon request, the LEVEL5 competence validation can be requested for our security trainings so that participants, at the end of the course, receive a competence validation certificate in addition to the certificate of attendance.

6. MENTORSHIP

A structured coached feedback on individual and team performance is provided to participants by experienced facilitators with extensive expertise in the security sector. Feedback is provided during the field training exercise, in order to reinforce the learning process of participants with reference to lessons learned during the training. Upon request, participants can receive additional feedback on individual performance through an online meeting after the end of the training.
